
Pamela is an emerging playwright and author from the Midwest, who has spent the last twenty years in theatre. Her plays have been produced across the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and India. Her full-length play, Gloria Mundi, was a finalist for the Judith Royer Excellence in Playwriting award, a winner of the KCACTF Full-Length Plays, and the Grand Prize Winner of the Renaissance Theatre / Theatre 166 Emerging Playwright Award. Her full-length play, Local School Board, was honored to receive the KCACTF Region V Rosa Parks Award for 2023, an award given to a play that furthers social justice and civil rights.
Her debut picture book, Simply Skye, illustrated by Heather Bell and published by Amicus, is set to release July 11th, 2023. This book follows a young child named Avi, who explores gender through their favorite doll, Skye.
She is the proud parent of two incredible human beings, as well as a member of the Dramatists Guild and Honor Roll. She currently attends Augsburg University for her MFA in Creative Writing.
